News Update #1 January 2013

Happy 2013 to you all.

There are four new men’s groups I want to let you know about - one for creative men, one for older men and one run by a woman.

And then there’s a big European men’s symposium coming up that I’d like to share with you.

INTEGRAL MEN’S GROUP

But first, would you or anyone you know be interested in helping to develop an Integral Men’s Group in Brighton?

I ran a workshop at the Big Man Gathering in 2012 using Spiral Dynamics and along with a couple of other Integral enthusiasts would love to explore what an Integral men’s group would be like. If this is of interest please let me know via glen@glenpoole.com

CREATIVE MEN’S GROUP

Everyone who came to the Big Man Gathering will remember Phil Milburn leading an awesome singing and movement session that inspired the idea of running regular Creative Men’s Group. If you’re interested in taking part in a Creative Men’s Group in Brighton then contact Phil and let him know you’re interested on Phil by email on:philip@lifemusic.org.uk

A WOMAN-LED MEN’S GROUP?

Tricia McLeod is a woman who runs friendly, supportive men’s groups that provide a safe space for men to discuss questions of an intimate nature around approaching and connecting with women. Her next group starts in Brighton at the end of the month so if this is of interest to you then please contact Tricia at:mcleodtricia@googlemail.com

FINDHORN GROUP FOR ELDERS

Alan Heeks from Men Beyond 50 who ran a session at the Big Man Gathering is co-hosting a workshop for elder men and women in Findhorn. If you want to find out more see this link.

INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM FOR MEN

Finally, one bit of international news. Men across Europe (and that includes men from the UK) are gathering in Germany in May for an International Symposium. If you want to take part in this international event see the website here for more information see the Men-Maenner website.

That’s all for now men. If you have any news on men’s groups and men’s work you want to share please let me know and I’ll try and spread the word whenever I can - and just to re-iterate if you don't want to receive emails like this please do let me know

AND do feel free to forward a link to this post to everyone you know who will be interested to find out more
